Students work with a soldering iron, welding tools, magnets, clamps, metal components, and guided projects to learn how strong and useful metal assemblies are designed and built. Career exploration introduces pathways in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, inspection, repair, and advanced metalworking. A soldering iron and welding tools are included. Certain advanced welding units require access to a welding machine.

Discover how water moves through homes, buildings, and communities while learning about supply lines, drains, vents, valves, fittings, fixtures, pressure, flow, and water heating. Hands-on projects give students experience connecting components, testing systems, identifying problems, making repairs, and designing practical plumbing solutions. Career exploration highlights the skilled trades and technical careers involved in installing, maintaining, inspecting, and managing modern water systems.
